As entrepreneurs, we are more likely to disclose personal, business, medical, and financial information to our hired help than in big businesses. Thus, it's super important to keep this information safe! An NDA is a great way to protect sensitive business information from being disclosed to the public + is a necessity if you regularly give out private information to your employees.
Ultimately, NDAs protect YOU from worrying that your employees will leak your information to either 1) start their own copy-cat business with everything they learned from you; 2) steal your clients; or 3) disclose personal information about you.
This contract covers situations like:
- Outlining what you consider to be confidential information.
- Mandating a period of non-disclosure (12 months or however long you see fit) after leaving your company.
- What damages an employee can expect to pay if they do disclose confidential information.
→ Click the “What's Included” tab to see the full list!
Purchase of this contract also includes:
- All updates that TLP may potentially make in the future. We update this particular contract often due to changing circumstances in the small business world.
- A screenflow tutorial by Paige on how to use your contract template with our easy step-by-step process. Click on “Template Features” to see all features included.

I highly recommend purchasing the TLP NDA Agreement! Not only does it very clearly state what happens if someone breaches the NDA, but it’s very specific about what’s considered confidential, so it goes perfectly hand-in-hand with the TLP Independent Contractor Agreement (another must-have). So there’s no confusion about what stays within one’s working relationship with the people they hire on to work with them.
