Model Call Contract
If you're a photographer and are actively putting together content shoots with other vendors to build your portfolio OR you are creating a workshop-style content shoot for other photographers to build their portfolios, you should DEFINITELY use a contract with the model(s) involved in your shoot. This contract covers each parties' roles and responsibilities, non-monetary (photos that you deliver) and potential monetary compensation to the model, copyright ownership of your photos, who pays for extra fees, a model release clause for the model (and additional language if minors will be present at the content shoot), crediting requirements, responsibilities regarding rented items, confidentiality, work relationship (independent contractor status), assumption of risk, and much more.
